If you have got kids, this one is going to be really interesting for you, as it talks about the educational toys for children as well as other games. It focuses on the mirror and its role in the life of your children.

There are several types of mirror related toys available in the market for your children. Some of them are colour mixing, hand held, light panels, magnifying lenses, table top, wall & floor mirrors and torches, to name a few.

You can make your baby sit in your lap with her back against your tummy and ask the sibling of the baby to prop up a mirror in front of the face of the baby. When a child looks into it, he/she can look to the face and get to know the face. Name each part of the face by touching them like ears, eyes, nose, mouth and chin, to name a few. Of course, toddlers will not understand the meanings, but gradually they learn it.

The mirror will help them to focus as well as track images. It will help them to explore themselves and learn the emotional development; they will gradually come to know that the face that they have been looking is their very own.

One of the most important tips while you do this is to remain safe. Safety precautions are must, as it the baby can get injured badly if the mirror gets broken; so buy the non breakable mirrors if possible in order to avoid the cuts and pain.
